Meet Tasneem

About Me

My name is Tasneem Behardien.

My work lives at the intersection of inner healing, spiritual remembrance, and collective liberation.

Every chapter of my journey has been heart-led. Years ago, I felt a deep, intuitive pull to study Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), not because it was logical, but because my heart and divine guidance called me forward. This path became Alchemy with Tasneem, a trauma-informed coaching practice where I support people, particularly women, to unlearn survival-based patterns, reconnect with their inner truth, and live with clarity, self-trust, and alignment.​

Later, responding to another call of the heart, I founded Cape Town Stitch to Resist (CTS2R). What began as a single act of stitching in solidarity with Palestinian heritage has grown into a registered NPO, using collective creativity, such as Palestinian Tatreez embroidery, as a practice of remembrance, healing, and resistance.​​

​Though these expressions may appear separate, they are rooted in the same devotion. The patterns that disconnect us from ourselves, silencing, fragmentation, and survival, are the same patterns that fracture families, cultures, and communities.

My work exists in the space where inner truth and collective responsibility meet.

Whether in one-on-one spaces or community settings, my work is guided by a single principle: responding to the heart’s deepest call.
